Doctor Who Locations
This page will be used to show pictures of some of the locations in Britain where the programme was made.
Aldbourne, Wiltshire
(The Daemons - Jon Pertwee, 1971)
Aldbourne is a nice little village about 7 miles from Hungerford and seems to have changed very little since 1971. For more information about Aldbourne Consult the village website
The Rollright Stones, Oxfordshire
(The Stones of Blood - Tom Baker, 1978)
This is an ancient stone circle near the village of Little Rollright in Oxfordshire. The King Stone (first picture) is nearby, but it is not known whether it is connected with the stone circle. On the day that I took these pictures, there was a woman sitting in the middle of the circle, meditating. It was raining at the time.
East Hagbourne, Oxfordshire
(The Android Invasion - Tom Baker, 1975)
These two pictures are fairly old and the village has changed a little since. The Fleur De Lys pub is still there and sells Dr Who postcards ! They are obviously used to having Dr Who fans turning up there.
